Sri Lanka Wok in Freiburg im Breisgau

The portion of Indian wok to-go was quite large and a fair price for € 7.50. I thought it didn't taste like Indian at all and therefore a bit disappointing. Would try something else besides wok next time.

South indian dishes were nice. Highly recommending Masala dosa and dosa. Idly was okayish. Dahi vada could have been lil more soft. Decent south indian dishes for reasonable price.

Very less quantity of meal for 10 euros.No satisfication and no taste.

Awesome food!!! We spontaneously decided to try out this restaurant and it was totally worth it. The food is delicious and very homestyle. As an Indian in Germany, I'm always looking for good Indian and South Asian food and this place nailed it. The beans and potato dish and the daal were especially good.Highly recommend!!

Only place as per my knowledge to have south Indian food in freiburg. Good quantity for the price. Try masala dosa and mango lassi. Only drawback is the curry and chutneys are not standard and always change as a surprise. Taste is good and can give u feeling of the south india with south indian music in background.

Food was ok, unfortunately, the curry leaves especially on the map were left without comment on the omelette and when asked for one of the desserts it was "not now" !? Nice service, but ran around non-stop in the headset on the phone. Upgradable.

For this miniportion the price is much too high. 3 tablespoons of vegetables with a serving of rice for 10 €. Since price performance is not right we will not go there.

Delicious authentic Sri Lankan food, friendly and quick service and all at a great value.

This place is run by a Sri Lankan Tamilian family. They are friendly and offer good service. I frequent this place to have my weekly dose of the famous South Indian delicacy called ‘Dosa’. Totally recommend their plain, masala, or chicken dosa. Tried another dish called ‘kothu porotta’ as well. It was, however, just average.

Delicious food, very nice service! The prices are absolutely fair and the portions are large. Only the ambience is not quite as convincing, but that is probably also a matter of taste.

The food is very delicious! 5.5 Both for friends of the sharp and the less sharp. Great selection, everything really delicious! There is a small star deduction because the ambiance is not the best. But that almost does not matter to the quality of the food.

Mostly satisfied, I recommend the vegan tofu wok. The last time I got rice instead of the ordered noodles and the portions were different in size. Otherwise good value and recommended!

It's closest you can get to Indian food that Indians actually eat at home. Their dosa is great. Their curry dish is really big and authentic. If you want to eat non-Germanized Indian/Sri Lankan food, then this is the place. It is not very spicy but has all the flavours of sour, sweet of an authentic Indian kitchen. I'm sad that it took me 3 years in Freiburg to discover this place. Staff is friendly. (It's a family run business). Their interior is not very modern and beautiful. But if you only care about the taste of your food, then it's the best place.

While in some "Indian" restaurants in Germany you get the feeling that the amount of spice has been halved, the food here is very tasty and, above all, authentic! The portions are large and the prices are reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.

Friendly staff and the food is great. I admit, the decor is a little strange and dated but you can get everything to go as well and the taste is truly good!

It was really a great experience. Nice south Indian and Sri Lankan food. I would definitely recommend for people who would like to try Indian food other than just curry curry... You should definitely try iddiappam (rice strings steam cooked along with brinjol side dish)..
